Jones Memorial Scholarships (Due May 10, 2026)
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY:
*Willie Clay Robinson Scholarship: $1,500 one-time, non-renewable
DESCRIPTION: To provide monetary funds to support higher education for 2026 high school graduate members of Jones Memorial The Higher Way Church.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Member of Jones Memorial The Higher Way Church.
- High School graduate or GED recipient during the 2025-2026 school year.
- Proof of enrollment into a post-secondary institution to the church business office before funds are awarded to the school.
- The college, university, or trade school can offer any course of study as long as it meets the accreditation standards of applicable state and/or federal agencies.
APPLICATION:
- Active Member of Jones Memorial The Higher Way Church
- High School graduate or GED recipient during the 2025-2026 school year
- Two (2) letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, and/or ministry leader
- Official High School Transcript or GED Certification
- Essay: 250-500 words titled “God’s Purpose for My Life: How has faith and identity in Christ prepared you for college? What challenges and concerns in our community are you most passionate about improving?
- Copy of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) EFC report
- 3.5 by 2.5 headshot photo

Harold & Gail Gilliard Scholarship: Due May 10, 2026
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY:
Harold & Gail Gilliard Scholarship: $1,000 one-time, non-renewable
DESCRIPTION: The Gilliard Scholarship opportunity is to support the educational pursuits of graduating high school seniors, current trade school and current college students who are members of Jones Memorial The Higher Way Church. This scholarship can be used for tuition, fees, study abroad expenses, professional certifications, and books.

- Minimum 2.5 GPA (on 4.0 scale)

Josie Mae Gilliard Scholarship: Due May 10, 2026

Josie Mae Gilliard Scholarship: $500 one-time, non-renewable
DESCRIPTION: The Josie Mae Gilliard Scholarship opportunity is to support the educational pursuits of graduating high school seniors, current trade school students, and current college students who are members of Jones Memorial The Higher Way Church. This scholarship can be used for tuition, fees, study abroad expenses, professional certifications, and books.

Clifford Branch Scholarship (Due May 24, 2026)
AWARD AMOUNT: $1,000.00
DESCRIPTION: The Clifford Branch Scholarship will be awarded to a High School Senior of Jones Memorial The Higher Way Church. To apply for this scholarship, you must be a senior and will attend college following your High school graduation in the Fall.
